Quickstart#

Find your first lead in about 5 minutes. This guide walks you from sign-up to a live dashboard with matched posts queued.

What you need#

• A Facebook account you use for business (you do not need to be a group admin)
• Google Chrome (required for the extension)
• Membership in at least one Facebook Group where your buyers post

Step 1: Sign up#

Go to app.otomizer.com/signup and sign in with Facebook. Otomizer uses Facebook OAuth because it reads group posts on your behalf.

New accounts get a free trial with full access.

Step 2: Describe your business#

During onboarding Chapter 1, tell Otomizer what you sell in one or two sentences. Example: "We run paid ads for local restaurants."

Otomizer uses this to suggest keywords and draft your AI reply voice. See Onboarding Walkthrough for field-by-field details.

Step 3: Install the Chrome extension#

In Chapter 2, install the Otomizer Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Pin it in your toolbar so you can confirm it is active.

The extension must be running (Chrome open, logged into Facebook) for Otomizer to monitor groups. See the Chrome Extension guide.

Step 4: Sync your groups#

Click Fetch Groups to pull every Facebook Group you are a member of. Select the groups where your buyers actually post.

You do not need admin access. Regular membership is enough.

Step 5: Set keywords and voice#

In Chapter 3, review the AI-suggested keywords, add negative keywords to filter noise (hiring posts, spam), and pick or customize your reply persona.

Step 6: Choose Monitor or Autopilot#

In Chapter 4, pick how Otomizer handles matched posts:

• Monitor only: Otomizer finds and scores leads. You reply manually from the dashboard.
• Autopilot: Otomizer posts replies automatically, with rate limits to protect your account.

Step 7: Go live#

Click Launch. Your dashboard starts filling with scored leads (Hot, Warm, Cold) as the extension finds matching posts.

[!tip] Start in Monitor mode for your first week. Read a few AI-drafted replies before turning on Autopilot.
