Marketing Intelligence Layer#
Every reply Otomizer generates passes through the Marketing Intelligence Layer. This is not a generic chatbot. It is a structured reply engine built on established copywriting and persuasion frameworks.
The goal: replies that sound like a helpful peer, not a sales pitch.
The four-stage pipeline#
Each matched post goes through four stages before you see a reply:
| Stage | What it does |
|---|---|
| Decode | Reads the post for intent, pain, awareness stage, and emotional tone |
| Frame | Chooses a reply strategy based on the intent score and post type |
| Draft | Writes the reply using your persona and the selected framework rules |
| Critique | Strips jargon, banned phrases, and unauthorized brand or URL mentions |
If the intent score is 4 or below, the pipeline stops at Decode. No reply is generated.
Frameworks in the engine#
These are the canonical frameworks mapped to each stage:
| Framework | Author | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Breakthrough Advertising | Eugene Schwartz | Matching tone to the poster's awareness stage |
| StoryBrand | Donald Miller | Keeping the poster as the hero, not your brand |
| Never Split the Difference | Chris Voss | Labels and calibrated questions before giving tips |
| The Mom Test | Rob Fitzpatrick | Questions about their life, not your product |
| Influence | Robert Cialdini | Reciprocity first. Social proof only when invited |
| $100M Offers | Alex Hormozi | Value equation when a dream outcome is named |
| Ogilvy / Made to Stick | Ogilvy, Heath brothers | Specificity: numbers, tools, concrete steps |
| Boron Letters / Adweek Handbook | Halbert, Vee, Kennedy | Peer voice, no jargon |
| Permission Marketing | Seth Godin | No CTA unless the poster invited one |
| SPIN Selling | Neil Rackham | One Situation or Problem question only |
| To Sell Is Human | Daniel Pink | Matching the poster's emotional register |
You do not configure these individually. They are built into the engine and applied automatically based on each post's context.
Reply strategy by intent score#
The Frame stage picks one of four strategies:
| Score | Strategy | What the reply looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 0-4 | Skip | No reply generated |
| 5-6 | Calibrated question only | One question about their situation |
| 7-8 | Value then question | A specific tip, then one follow-up question |
| 9-10 | Warm offer if invited | Helpful peer tone. Name or link only if they asked |
Name and URL rules#
Hard guardrails enforced in both the prompt and a post-generation check:
- Your name appears only when the post explicitly asks for recommendations or who to hire
- Your URL appears only when the post explicitly asks for a portfolio, website, or link
- Banned marketing phrases are stripped in the Critique pass
This prevents the most common reason group replies get flagged as spam: unprompted self-promotion.
Worked examples#
Pain vent (score 7, FRUSTRATED)#
Post: "My ad costs are insane this month and nothing is converting."
Reply: "Sounds like costs spiked while conversions flatlined. Brutal combo. What changed in the last 30 days on creative or audience?"
Strategy: label the pain (Voss), then one calibrated question (Mom Test).
Recommendation request (score 9, explicit name OK)#
Post: "Anyone recommend a marketing agency for restaurants?"
Reply: "We focus on restaurant social at our shop, [Name]. Biggest unlock is usually consistency over platform. What's your main bottleneck right now?"
Strategy: warm offer because they asked (score 9), name included because they requested recommendations.
Low intent (score 3)#
Post: "Happy Friday everyone!"
Action: Skipped. No reply generated.
What you control#
You do not need to understand every framework. What you control:
- Persona (Persona and Voice): your tone and rules
- Keywords (Keywords): which posts enter the pipeline
- Mode (Monitor vs Autopilot): who posts the final reply
The engine handles framework selection, strategy routing, and quality guardrails automatically.
