Reply Preview#
Reply Preview lets you see exactly how Otomizer would respond to posts before you enable Autopilot or start replying manually. Use it during onboarding and whenever you change your persona or keywords.
Where to find it#
- Onboarding Chapter 4: preview appears before you launch
- Dashboard → Monitor Config: generate previews anytime after setup
How it works#
Otomizer shows sample posts that resemble real group conversations. For each post, you see:
- The original post text
- The intent score (Hot / Warm / Cold)
- The AI-drafted reply
- The reply strategy used (calibrated question, value then question, etc.)
Read each reply and ask: "Would I actually post this?" If not, edit your persona.
Sample previews#
During onboarding, Otomizer generates previews based on your industry template. These cover common post types:
- Recommendation requests ("anyone know a good...")
- Pain vents ("my ads aren't converting")
- How-to questions ("how do you guys handle...")
- Low-intent posts (these should show as skipped)
Custom preview#
Generate a preview for your specific business:
- Go to Monitor Config
- Find Reply Preview
- Enter a sample post or use the "Generate for my business" option
- Review the drafted reply
This uses your current persona, keywords, and business profile.
What to look for#
Good signs#
- Reply sounds like a peer, not a pitch
- One question or one tip, not a wall of text
- No brand name unless the post asked for recommendations
- Specific details (numbers, tools, concrete steps)
Red flags#
- Marketing jargon ("leverage", "synergy", "game-changer")
- Unprompted links or brand drops
- Generic advice that could apply to anyone
- Reply is longer than the original post
If you see red flags, go back to Persona and Voice and tighten your rules.
The critique pass#
Behind the scenes, every reply goes through a four-stage pipeline: Decode, Frame, Draft, Critique. The Critique pass strips jargon, banned phrases, and unauthorized brand mentions before you see the final text.
See Marketing Intelligence Layer for details.
[!tip] Run a custom preview after every persona change. It takes 10 seconds and prevents bad replies from going live.
